Minhui (Charlie) Xie is a master degree student in Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt. Charlie completed his undergraduate education in 1996 with a degree in clinical medicine. He is a full-time, active developer in the implementation team of StarChart and StarPanel electronic patient record systems at Vanderbilt. His dissertation work is designed to develop and pilot test alternative approaches to presenting clinical decision support alerts/reminders in an e-prescribing system.
