Elizabeth earned a B.S. in Computer Science from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 2006. In 2006, she also began her studies in the Vanderbilt Biomedical Informatics MS/PhD degree training program. Her research advisor is Dr. Jens Meiler.

Research Interests: Includes the development of algorithms for approximating the solvent accessible surface area (SASA) of proteins. SASA is used to estimate the environment free energy of a protein model, which is then used as part of an energy evaluation function in de novo protein structure prediction.
