Stephany Duda graduated from Princeton University in 2002 with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in German. At Vanderbilt, she worked with Kevin Johnson on the automatic retrieval of drug-drug interaction information from the medical literature and earned her Master's degree in Biomedical Informatics in 2005. Stephany is currently pursuing a PhD in global health informatics under the direction of Daniel Masys.

Research interests:

Global/public health informatics, electronic medical records for HIV/AIDS care, health care delivery in resource-limited settings, open source medical software, language and culture barriers to technology adoption, data representation and exchange standards, and information retrieval.
