Randy Carnevale received an AB degree in Computer Science from Princeton University in 2004 and an MS degree in Biomedical Informatics from Vanderbilt University in 2007. He is working towards a PhD in Biomedical Informatics under the direction of Randolph Miller, and is concurrently pursuing an MPH from Vanderbilt's School of Public Health.

Research interests: Microbiology decision support and surveillance.
